Wanted to share a few of the things I do when I go to the gym. I go once or twice a week, and I'm there for an hour and a half to two hours. This section is everything I do after my ten minutes of stretching, and running my mile at the fastest speed I can consistantly (7.2 mph as of now). After this, my body weight exercises, I do my machine work, finishing off with five to seven minutes of meditation before spending around thirty minutes practicing technique and consistency on the punching bag. First: is lower back, then arms, then random jumproping, then triceps, then abs then pull ups, then push ups on my fist in stand still spider crawl, then obliges to finish before I start the cycle again upping my repetition-for arms, lowering my weights for more reps. #training #martialarts #betterment #trueself #conditioning #gymtime

Backstory: Tonight, two hours at the gym. Awesome workout. πŸ˜€πŸ€“πŸ˜Ž Afterwards I decided it'd be a good idea to do some jump kicks, cause…why not right?! "No pain, no gain." πŸ˜… The first video, someone walks in front of the camera just before I start and I give him a dirty look then laugh because I realized in that moment, I was kinda the asshole. πŸ˜† The first three kicks on my left all hit with the big toe and I groan about it real quick. (You might be able to hear it.) The second video is all, until the end, spinning roundhouse kicks. I over think my left side near the middle and you can see the result of doing so after I kick. Yoga, was hard tonight. Lots of core stuff. But I liked it, and the instructor made constant comments on my improvement. But these videos are about speed punch training. In the first, I have one pound weights in each hand to help better associate a "snap back" after the follow through. In the second, it's a slowmo looking up pov of the punches. The third, is normal speed in the same pov as the second. (I'm sorry for the odd angle and only being able to see my fists but my phone wanted to be a brat).
